I like to think of college applications as an opportunity for students to tell schools about themselves rather than a burden to be overcome. When I was writing my own undergraduate and law school application essays, mentors who helped me express myself to the fullest extent possible despite the limited word count made all the difference in the world. Navigating this process alone can be daunting and stressful; through Paschar, I want to pay forward to other students what my mentors and editors have done for me. It is an incredible privilege to be able to work with so many talented students who inspire me in turn every year, and I consider it my job to make the schools see the same in these amazing students.
