Why Paschar?

The values Paschar pursues are fairness, proximity, and autonomous learning.

Unlike other consulting academies and services, Paschar shows all processes transparently and provides easy access to necessary information for both students and parents through the available channels at any time.

Through 1:1 online coaching with students, you can meet friendly and passionate life mentors who not only help with applications but also give advice to students on what they want to do in college and in the larger society. In addition, you can receive constant feedback from the brainstorming stage to the final editing stage to suit your needs.

Rather than writing all the essays for the student, the student can self-improve their writing skills by reading, discussing, and refining together with the mentor.

College truly begins after acceptance. As you enter college, you should develop the ability to read, decipher, and write papers by yourself.

Paschar Consulting helps students better their skills learned in high school so that they can adapt well to college and beyond. Begin now with Paschar, your personal educational mentor for life.

CEO’s Words of Advice

Hello, I'm Via Lim, the CEO of Paschar Consulting.

Having dreamed of studying abroad since childhood, I moved to Australia in the fifth grade of elementary school and graduated from a local private high school. Interacting with various cultures in Australia raised questions about the bigger world, and by the 11th grade of high school, I was naturally bracing myself for the U.S. college applications. It was difficult because I prepared everything alone without the help of an academy or consulting services, but I developed more academic passion in the process and was able to grow into an independent student.

I had a busy but fun 12th grade with my academics, extracurricular activities, and an art portfolio, and was able to achieve successful results. I was accepted to seven US universities, including UPenn, UC Berkeley, UCLA, NYU, RISD, Emory, and WashU St Louis. I had been told that I would never cross the Ivy League threshold. My SAT scores and grades were not higher than average. Nevertheless, the reason I was able to achieve satisfactory results was that I presented myself well through a comprehensive activity profile, awards, and essays.

After entering University of Pennsylvania, I took advantage of the opportunity to explore vast majors at the College of Arts and Sciences. I gained knowledge and experience by interning in various fields such as the National Assembly, BCG, a mobile game start-up, and JTBC, and at the same time, I began to consider what I was most passionate about. During my five years at Paschar, I mentored countless students and developed my own consulting strategies. It felt rewarding to share my knowledge and experiences with students, and I was happy to be able to directly impact someone’s life, so I have been working with Paschar all along. I hope you will also explore your true passions in the span of your life.

College doesn't decide everything, but the connections you will meet, the resources you will receive, and the path of your career will be much different. Depending on how you spend your high school period, your life in the next 5-10 years can be a little easier or harder. I often wonder how nice it would have been to have a life mentor like Paschar when I was in high school. I am always grateful for being given the opportunity to study abroad, at a prestigious university. Keep in mind that you are not alone, and if you want to have no regrets, begin now.
