PASCHAR
CONSULTING
Why Paschar?
Paschar Consulting is an online company that connects high school students around the world with mentors from Ivy League and Top 10 US universities for guidance into dream school admission.
Founded in South Korea, Paschar Consulting has established itself as a leader in the college admission guidance industry. Over the past six years, we have proudly guided over 200 students toward achieving their goals.
Our mission is to help students discover and pursue their unique dream throughout high school and beyond. We believe that each person has a unique passion and drive, and university education is just a tool to help achieve one’s dream. Under this mindset, there is no ‘formula’ for getting into prestigious universities; rather, proactively searching for and following one’s own passion naturally leads to gaining admission. Thus, our approach is deeply personal – we match a student with a mentor who has already successfully gone through the application process – and focus on each student as a unique case.
Our approach of providing genuine guidance has yielded impressive results. As of 2024, approximately 25% of our students have gained admission to Ivy League and Top 10 universities, 34% achieved admission to their dream schools, and 71% were accepted into one of their top five choices. These outcomes reflect our commitment to each student’s success and our belief in the power of personalized mentorship.
We are dedicated to continuous improvement and research to help every student achieve their own dream. We hope that each student focuses on self-discovery, truly just following one’s passion, rather than following what others say is necessary in life.

CEO’s Words of Advice
Hello, I'm Via Lim, the CEO of Paschar Consulting.
Having dreamed of studying abroad since childhood, I moved to Australia in the fifth grade of elementary school and graduated from a local private high school. Interacting with various cultures in Australia raised questions about the bigger world, and by the 11th grade of high school, I was naturally bracing myself for the U.S. college applications. It was difficult because I prepared everything alone without the help of an academy or consulting services, but I developed more intellectual passion in the process, ultimately growing into an independent student.
I had a busy but fun 12th grade with my academics, extracurricular activities, and an art portfolio, resulting in successful outcomes. I was accepted to seven US universities, including UPenn, UC Berkeley, UCLA, NYU, RISD, Emory, and WashU St Louis. I had been told that I would never cross the Ivy League threshold. My SAT scores and grades were not higher than average. Nevertheless, the reason I was able to achieve satisfactory results was that I presented myself well through a comprehensive activity profile, awards, and essays.
After entering University of Pennsylvania, I took advantage of the opportunity to explore vast majors at the College of Arts and Sciences. I gained knowledge and experience by interning in various fields such as the National Assembly, BCG, a mobile game start-up, and JTBC, and at the same time, I began to wonder what I was most passionate about. During my five years at Paschar, I mentored countless students and developed my own consulting strategies. It felt rewarding to share my knowledge and experiences with students, and to be able to directly impact someone’s life, so I have been working with Paschar all along. I hope you will also explore your true passions in the span of your life.
College doesn't decide everything, but the connections you will meet, the resources you will receive, and the path of your career will be much different. Depending on how you spend your high school period, your road down the next 5-10 years could be a little rockier or smoother. I often wonder how nice it would have been to have a life mentor like Paschar when I was in high school. I am always grateful for being given the opportunity to study abroad at a prestigious university. Keep in mind that you are not alone - we are here to guide you through college and beyond.
